Accessibility at Intueo Labs
Last updated: October 18, 2025 — Vancouver, Canada
Our Commitment
Intueo Labs is committed to making our websites and products usable by everyone. We design, build, and test against recognized standards and continuously improve based on user feedback.
- Standard we aim to meet: Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA.
- Scope: All public pages on intueo.ai and associated subdomains, plus client dashboards we control. Third-party embeds and portals are covered separately (see Limitations).
What We're Doing
We apply accessibility best practices throughout our design and development process.
Design
- Sufficient color contrast (minimum 4.5:1 for text; 3:1 for large text/icons).
- Clear typography, scalable text, and layout that supports zoom to 200% without loss of content or functionality.
- Motion used sparingly; respects Reduce Motion settings.
- Focus indicators visible and consistent.
Content
- Plain language and logical heading structure.
- Descriptive links and buttons.
- Alternative text for meaningful images; decorative images marked appropriately.
- Captions for pre-recorded videos; transcripts for audio content.
Development
- Semantic HTML and ARIA where appropriate (no ARIA is better than bad ARIA).
- Full keyboard support; skip-to-content links.
- Form labels, instructions, and error messages that are programmatically associated.
- Properly managed focus and announcements for dynamic content (live regions).
Testing
- Automated checks with axe-core, Lighthouse Accessibility, and pa11y during CI.
- Manual testing with screen readers and browsers:
- NVDA + Firefox (Windows)
- JAWS + Chrome/Edge (Windows)
- VoiceOver + Safari (macOS/iOS)
- TalkBack + Chrome (Android)
- Review of key user flows (navigation, forms, media, modals, dialogs).
Known Limitations & Third-Party Services
We use third-party tools (e.g., calendars/booking, payment providers, analytics). While we select vendors with strong accessibility records, some components may not fully meet WCAG 2.2 AA at all times (examples: map widgets, captchas, certain embedded dashboards).
Workarounds:
- Provide alternative contact or booking paths (email/phone/SMS).
- Offer accessible, static summaries of complex charts or dashboards.
- On request, provide documents in alternative formats within a reasonable timeframe.
If you encounter an issue, please let us know (see Feedback). We will document it, offer a workaround, and coordinate remediation with the vendor or replace the component when feasible.
